My only regret is that the "store" can be accesed only from the menu, I think I'll add an access to the store also from the "game over scene" , with the pause behaviour So people could purchase things immediately for the next ride, instead of have to leave to the menu, too bad we don't have much experience with IAP to know those things ahead, But this is what this thread is for isn't it?! So we can study the new feature an update for yesterday will come in a few hours guys.
I (and I'm sure everyone else does too) really appreciate the feedback you are giving on iAP's. I hope you continue to see an upwards trend with purchases.
@3xL mate , you have absolutely no idea how much money those games already made when they were paid , they are now free just for these tests .. (which i do for the community) I honestly don't think i can add more "action" or "excitement" to them then they already have .
Yesterday numbers guys : Loonimals downloads -46,691 Loonimals HD downloads - 3,825 Total downloads - 50,516 (clearly the loonimals downloads is increasing and the "HD" version is decreasing, i wonder if apple will feature the game again today, it was already feature N&N Games worldwide when it came out)
Yesterday IAP purchases - 13 11 for - 0.99$ 2 for - 2.99$
Total IAP revenue for yesterday (from loonimals and loonimals HD only) - 17$
By the way today i crossed the 750,000 downloads barrier for all P-O-M Games getting close to 1M !

@Braydon_SFX No its not , when it was paid i made much more money from it , but its irrelevant cause this test is not for comparing Paid vs Free+IAP , its for giving an estimate of how much revenue you can get from IAP with 30,000 units download per day . (and of course the result can be varied for different games)
@P-O-M - Test phase 2: switch back to paid. So see how any iaps you get with paid + iaps. Maybe after a couple weeks so you have a long enough period of time to compare equally?
Roy, I was just testing the game and found a bug. It's the same bug that effected FarmVille, if you use loonimals, then quit from the multitask bar, then manually change the time on your phone to tomorrow you get coins for free.
I'm not sure of any way in GS to get the time from a remote server. -Brad
Hey @bradherman Thanks for playing mate Im well aware of the situation and its even worse then that , like i said 2 days ago : " The problem is , that if you close the app(also from multitasking bar) and reopen it , its not loading the "coins" attribute , Looking at the project the "loading behavior" seems to be missing the "game.Coins" attribute in it , its just empty ... Its nothing serious , and is not affected if not closing the game from the multitask bar , good i caught it fast... so a fix should be up in a few days . Sorry for any inconvenience "
The fix is waiting for review (much longer than expected) , and will go live in a couple of days .
Also , addressing the "hacking the system" with change the device time , this was my comment at page 1 : "Yeah about the 10 free coins a day , first i was to do one free random power up a day (as suggested by another member) but due to the fact that this system can be hacked easily by changing the iPhone's date , i decided to give away coins , and make a whole new mini game (the slot machine) , this way , if the user is going to fool the system , i don't mind , let him fool the iPhone , let him get extra coins , and let him play the slot machine , it will only make him to want more"
Wow your sell rate is very low. 50.000 downloads and only 13 purchases? its like 0.005%
Look at my numbers and my experience with IAP for past 5 days (since my first free app with iap released)
100 downloads and 10 purchases like 10% sell rate. I would be rich if I was 50000 downloads day , thats will be 5000 purchases U$ 5000 daily. Not bad lol, but I got U$ 7 today, but its good for a 100 downloads day app
Indeed a very low rate , can't say I'm happy with the numbers but what can i do ..

I think it's just figuring out what people like. :P I'm in the process of submitting Penguin Pounce Lite and I have IAP in there to unlock 40 more levels. We will see how that does. Even if it get only 10 purchases a day that would be better then what the full version is getting ATM.
@mmzbr the thing is your fortune teller doesn't bulge unless you pay her =P P-O-M's animal plays even though you don't feed them a thing haha. they just do more jumping through the fire loop when you do.
@Calvin its a problem , cause if the person purchased 500 coins and accidentally messed with the date , all his coins will be lost . I must say that its a good idea though
Yes sorry for not updating this one, I was very busy in the last few days and add this to the fact that I'm ill :-& Anyway the last 2 days were no different , about 40,000 downloads with 15-18 IAP a day . A few hours ago I changed the price back to tier 1, I'll give an update on that later on.

I got yesterday's report after turning Loonimals to Paid , and i have to say its very INTERESTING !
110 IAP purchases for yesterday (from Loonimals and Loonimald HD only) .
I wasn't expecting this to happen , but it just did .

But if you only just changed it back to paid those iaps will still be from the free downloads?
It might , i can't really know , i give you guys all the info i can about this , the games has turned to paid about 14 hours ago .
