Dear All,
Me on behalf of my company "Thermo-Apps" is creating a new website for my company and I am looking at a few designs so I thought it would be interesting to open up this thread and ask you guys what makes a really good looking developer website or to share developer websites that you've cam across!,
My current website design is available at; http://www.thermo-apps.com
I am also expanding my gs tutorials and creating a new website for them (I have already bought the domain name) The website should be available shortly at: http://www.LearnGS.com
Im looking forward to see what sites you guys like,
J.Leonard

The apple website: www.apple.com (not really a developer website)
Bjango: http://bjango.com/
rampchamp: http://rampchamp.com/
http://mixrdj.com/
Deep blue apps: http://www.deepblueapps.com/Deep_Blue_Ideas_Ltd./Home.html
and a couple of others
I like the rovio website: http://www.rovio.com/
http://www.halfbrick.com
I think the same..
Halfbrick is just a little more custom in its look. If you know CSS you can use an existing template and tweak it.
Yep its wordpress... I don't want to change some features I'm going for a complete redesign...
I'm staying would word press just migrating to wordpress.org

My website is currently through Wordpress --> http://www.futurenewbapps.com I'm about to due a slight redesign on the Apps/Games section though since its getting a bit lengthy, but the look will overall stay the same as it is now.
Website ∞ Twitter ∞ My apps are available on: Apple iOS App Store ∞ Google Play App Store ∞ Amazon App Store
Let me address them:
@photics
Actually I love phonics.com But I like the fresh, Contemporary and new style like the apple websiet and thats what I'm going for! I already got a web developer too! Just before you posted that you were one! ... Yes drupal is more powerful, I used it for a while... But I just like the wordpress feel and usability personally!
@honeytribestudios
Yes yore website is lovely and clean! I like that but I've already found a great template that I know I'm using! BY the way, Do you have to pay extra to get your own custom footer? instead of "proudly powered by wordpress" ??
@rks
haha! No I liek DBA's site... Unfortuantely your site isn't my style... It doenst catch my eye and its a bit too empty and it doenst look "Pretty" As some may put it....
@doguz
I personally don't like joomla but your website is beautiful!
@futurenewbapps
My site was through wordpress.com for a while but now I switched to wordpress.org because its better and tehyre are more features... I would suggest changing your "Blavatar" so that your favicon has your logo on it.... Like my website...
Overall,
Thanks very much guys and keep the updates and posts coming!
J.Leonard
Cool! THanks for the info
I never tried another cms because I rather spend my time in development and joomla does what I need for now.
The only thing I'd like to change on my site is a single column mobile version but again no time to deal with it now.
Lump Apps and My Assets

Hate to say it, But your wrong The speed of your site isn't really important (If your site was dead slow then it is important) A couple of seconds don't really matter, Its the look and design of your site that matters, If apple had a crap looking app store interface and a crap looking website we wouldn't be here today as apple developers, As they're may not have been as much a big of a want for the app store if it looked shite, "Design isn't what it looks like, Its how it works" That is a famous quote from the late Steve Jobs,
@Oldkipper
I like that one too!
