    Any fallout from this yet?

If so, in terms of returns/chargebacks, what do they look like on your sales reports (i.e codes, any additional fees, etc.)?

I think you have the right to price things however you want. Intentionally trying to trick people is not cool though.

It is probably best to price things as you would be willing to pay yourself. I have launched over 1000 products in my career and I can tell you, pricing accurately and fairly is really important if you are trying to build a brand.

I am not a fan of the negative comments about people being stupid. There are many many brilliant people out there in this world. A flat out statement condemning everyone is silly.

My best advice to anyone feeling the world is a terrible place is do something to make it better. Like make cool games!

i was not intentionally tricking people! it hasnt sold in over a month so i though if i lifted up the price for a couple of days then lowere it down loads it would appear on the "On Sale" list of iphone apps.

I've seen a few other devs doing this. i don't find it funny. Doing so places unwarranted scrutiny on other developers. You do have the right to price how you feel, but you also have to have some ethics involved in that pricing.

There are numerous games that cost more than $100. They may not charge $100 all at once, but what about games that charge for virtual items? Often in that scenario the game is much more than $100.

Also, if you consider games as a true artform, then they should and could cost more. If a person did a painting, or a limited edition print, and only sold a few, then decided to not sell anymore is that morally wrong?

I'm not for tricking people, but anyone can set a price and value, especially if they created it.

Finally I think it is morally wrong to expect that someone's hard work is only worth 99cents.

There are people who steal music and games and think that it's OK. For all the people calling the price as morally wrong, I have a question: Do you have any pirated music? Or software? Hypocrisy is morally wrong.

I'm convinced that Apple will remove this app soon.

The Apple Store block a person for life for doing that the last year, an app called "How to Be Rich" or something like that its was selling the app for thousands of $$ and the app only was showing a "Diamond" animation.

The people will send to Apple's "abuse reports" and this will affect your membership for life.

In previous posts, he said he pulled the app.

I think it would be a good idea to be proactive and contact Apple with a strong suggestion to not charge the 4 customers who bought the app.
