Hi

I have just downloaded Gamesalad and I am using it for the first time (OS version Lion.)

All images on actors seems to be to large which means that I can only see a part of the image when i drag actors
in the scene. 1/4 of the image to be exact.

My gamesalad is up to date with the newest version.

Here is a SS of my problem

Does anybody know to to fix this problem, or what is cursing it?

Thanks you.

Inside your actor, on the left side menu under 'graphics', make sure it is set to 'stretch' for horizontal and vertical wrap. Also make sure horizontal and vertical 'anchors' are not activated, that's what it looks like from the image so you are only seeing a portion of the image.

That didn't help a bit, unfortunately. The settings were already in correct position according to what you suggested.

I have tried changing the settings into different positions, but nothing seems to make the image display correctly.

Any other suggestions for how to deal with this problem anyone? :/

Yes it is a bit strange. Someone else in the forum had this same problem recently. When they sent me the file to look at, it was fine for me and image appeared normal. Not sure, but have you tried reinstalling GS?

Bit of a long shot but do you have one of the new mac books with retina display? I've heard of people having problems with various software on those, whereby you have to run the software in low resolution mode as the software isn't designed to make use of the retina screen yet.

Just a thought, I can't be much more help as I don't have one of the retina mac books (yet ;) )

I reinstalled earlier, but that didn't help at all. My first thought as well.

Yes, im using a mac book pro with retina display, and i have tried changing the resolution setting to lower and higher degrees but the scene still displays the actor-images in this strange way.

Hmm. Is there a specific way to run GS in a lower "resolution mode"?

Yeah if certain programs are having issues displaying in retina mode then you can force them to run in low resolution mode (this is different from changing the display resolution manually). Take a look at this for a how to - I wouldn't be surprised if this is what's causing the issue.

    That did it!

I ran it in low resolution mode and now the scenes turn out fine.

    Thanks a lot!
