    Hey everyone!

For anyone who pre-odered this morning, how was it? I woke up around 2:55 AM Est to go order it on Apple's site. When it went live at 3, it was impossible for me to get an oder in. I think it just had so much traffic to the site... After about 10 minutes of Apple's site, at around 3:10, I decided to head over to Verizons site. When I got there, I forgot my VZ password and that took another five minutes to figure that out. After that was done, I was finally able to get it all ordered and finished at 3:27 AM and with a September 21st delivery date :) I have yet to receive an email confirmation, but I was told when I got the confirmation number that it might take up to 24 hours because of all the orders coming in.. Well that's all for now, I'll update you guys when I get the email!

    Cheers

Wait a minute, AT&T is removing Unlimited Data plans with the iPhone 5 even if your grandfathered in?!?! I might have to switch to Sprint because I use 4-5 GB each month easy with my unlimited iPhone 4S.

If I understand correctlly you can keep it with att. You just are better off upgrading in a store to make sure you don't lose it.

Okay this is so weird... I ordered my phone last night, got the order complete page and order confirmation number, ect. But I never got an email confirming it! I called VZ, worried my order hadn't gone through, but they did get it. I also checked to track my order which is "processing". So all signs say my order was successful, but for some strange reason, I didn't get any sort of email confirmation... Im a little worried, even though they say they got my order. Just seems strange that I wouldnt get an email. Anybody else have this problem? Is it just me, or would you be worried to?

been going over and over the UK Tariffs yesterday and today and have to agree with @soulstealer the Three contracts look the best, its just such a ball ache that they want us tied in for 24 months, back in my more youthful days 12 months used to be a lot!

@capitalcarnage The 24 month contract sucks alright but I think all you can eat data eases the pain somewhat ;)

75 votes, nice guys! It's great to hear everyones opinions :)

So this morning I called VZ about how I should go about keeping my unlimited data plan for my new iPhone. They said, I can keep my plan as long as I don't upgrade my phone with the discounted price. Meaning, I have to pay the full $799, rather than my two year upgrade price of $299. As soon as I buy a phone with a discounted price because of my two year contract, my unlimited data plan stops. I just thought it was a nice little tidbit for everyone to know before they go out to the stores Friday to buy one.

    Cheers!

The iPhone 5 passed over two million orders in just 24 hours after going on sale for pre orders, shattering all previous records... Launch day is going to be insane!

Update - Just got my tracking number from FedEx. It looks like some lucky people are going to get it by tomorrow... But the majority of us, including myself, should get it this friday!

    Cheers

    Hey guys,

For those of you who ordered online or waiting in line today, how do you like it? I know @tshirtbooth was first in line in Canada last night. Anyone else wait in line?

Nice! I had such a bad experience getting my phone. So I ordered it at 3 AM, got the shipping information earlier than most, and all signs pointed to me getting it on 9/21 at the latest. It was at my local FedEx facility yesterday morning, so I called them in the middle of the day just to confirm it was out for delivery. They told me that the shipment got lost and sent to the wrong place and that they didn't know where it was.. I got a call later that night that they found it and it would get to me Saturday. Then they called back this morning saying the truck hadn't come in yet and I probably wasnt getting it today. After all of this, the FedEx trucked pulled into my driveway at about 10 and I got my phone :) So after all the drama, I now have it and its all setup. Anyone else have any iPhone stories to share?

    Cheers

Any device I'll get will be for testing purposes, and I haven't had the need for a smartphone just yet. I may actually just get the 5th gen iPod to test on...
