Save Attributes for a Mac/Win version of your game

dkstrdkstr Member, PRO Posts: 15
Hi all!

Im working on a Mac/PC game with Gamesalad and Im wondering if the save / load attributes should work with them?

I followed this tutorial closely

After I published the game (NOT previewing), its not working? Any idea or experiences what could be wrong?

    Im working on Mac, publishing to Mac to test that if save and load attributes work or not. Just an easy yes / no - answer would be enough, thanks! All the code part is in that youtube video. Basically I just want to know if load and Save attribute works on desktop versions of games.

    Sometimes save/load doesn't work for me, but when I remove save/load behavour and and add it again with the same key/attribute it works.

    Yeah, seems little odd.

    You should be using a table to save attributes it's a much better option.

    Yes, thats the next thing to learn. Couldnt find "load table" behaviour but Im sure Ill figure it out. But thats the last thing..more content first.

    @dkstr

    =)) You couldn't find the "Load Table" behavior, because such a behavior doesen't exist!!!

    Once you save a table, it's in the permanent storage forever (even if you reset the game, so make a table thats empty and change all tables to that empty table when/if you make a reset game button)

    Hope this helps
