Because I have absolutely no idea how this works, and I can't seem to find any information on it, does the windows 8 publish feature in pro, make an .exe?

Hi, We are in the process for adopting Gamesalad for our windows 8 casual game development, therefore we evaluating the Gamesalad for same but we do not find any template in Gamesalad creator available for making Game for Windows 8, and the whole process of publishing struck on publishing page. Please anyone guide us so that we can evaluate the tool and check the feasibility.
