Hi. We're just looking into Trains and timings for May 1st.
Told my other half about the meet, now she wants to come (and see her brother in London), see a show, have a meal and stay in a fancy bloody Hotel.

Thanks! This is gonna cost a fortune! I only wanted a pint, meet everyone, have a chat and go home.... Now my wallets gonna get bruised!

Should be OK though, would be good to meet up :-)

Oh yeah!, and no funny business though! I wont hesitate to go to the nearest police station and tell them that, a QuantumSheep nicked my iPhone whilst Draper3000 and LazyPixelGames held me down making me squel like a pig screaming "..it's only GameSalad guys!" .... Yeah! and they'll believe me!

Ok, have got the green light penciled into the wifes calender..

Be good to meet up and just chat about GameSalad and whatever over a cool pint in the sun/rain.

....Right now back to finishing those last minute bits of Quake Builder, hope to submit either tonight or tomorrow lunch time....its only taken a long arduous 3 months to get this far... :-)

Probably leave my MacBook at home and just bring my iphone.

I'll also just bring my iPhone loaded up with my game prototypes... hopefully will have an almost finished version of 2 Minute Tank to show you lot, amongst other stuff. I don't want to stumble home at some godforsaken hour and suddenly wonder where I left my MacBook

As for venue, shall we go for the Royal Festival Hall? There's a large outside area, and if we're lucky we'll get a few tables together and hang out there by the river.

(it also means I can smoke!)

So, let's say:

Saturday May 1st
3pm start (but you can wander in later if you like)
Royal Festival Hall (outside facing the river)

Hopefully we'll have some nice weather.

I shall get there a day early, and start doing my crazy-eyes and bark at folks what get too close. Look for the guy with a large plastic bowl gaffa taped to his head, and a large space around him. I better start drinking lots of water, gonna take a lot of pee to keep the area scented. I’m kidding of course, i haven’t drunk water since the final meet of the Water Appreciation Society 1992. Yer know they never call me despite the gifts i made for EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM.

Anyhoo... i suggest we have a coded greeting like all good spies. How about –“I’m hearing whispers of the new 4.0 License agreement” response –“Oh shut up and buy me a pint”.
