Hi all! It's been a while since I've been on the GS forums, I hope everyone's doing good?
The truth is I'm not currently using Gamesalad any more. This says nothing about GS as a tool, it's been fantastic and taught me so much about game logic. However I've since learnt to code, and that just seems to fit better with my personality.
So why am I posting here again? To be honest I just wanted to wrap this thread up nicely whilst letting you know that I'm still around and working hard! I'm aware that plenty of people come and go at these forums. Some have grand ideas and schemes to change the world, and predictably get bored and give up when they realise it's actually hard work. I guess I just wanted to ensure that I don't get labelled as another one of the over-optimistic dreamers who quietly fades away, never actually doing anything.
I've just relocated my website to a new home, and last night announced the alpha version of my new game in development. Feel free to take a look if you're interested, but I won't push it too hard as it's now no longer related to GS.
Progress on my game development is currently slower than I'd like (being a new parent is tough) but I'm in it for the long haul.
Thank you to everyone in the GS community, I've used GS for years and it's put so much power in to the hands of coders and non-coders alike. I owe a lot to it.
