Awesome, I was able to replace the bird with my animation. I'm having trouble replacing the bricks obstacles though. Any idea how to do that? It looks to me (and I'm just guessing here) that the bricks image is a small slab of bricks that the designer repeated to make long columns? Thanks again for your help

as far as changing graphics goes, your best bet is to open them in whatever photo editing software you like, edit them, then drag them back into game salad.

Hey @fturner19, Wondering why in your Flappy Bird Clone for the Icon you have a cute looking bird but then for the actual gameplay you kept in the bird from the template? Just curious as that is bad! Also, would make me a little angry if I downloaded because I would be expecting to play as this cute bird and well, I get that! Just a thought!

Here's my version! Took 2 weeks to complete, It's just a shame that Apple might not approve it due to the large number of "Flappy" Games! I'll let you know how I get on with the review, but if the rumours are true its not looking good! I'm in the middle of rebranding it, and modifying it slightly to prepare for any bad news! Either way, this whole flappy thing was very enjoyable!

Flappy Bird is Back on the App Store … well kinda. Since the decision to take Flappy Bird, loads of clones have popped up and here is my offering 'Flappy". The graphics are simple but very vibrant. The gameplay is exactly the same as Flappy Bird. I know it's no Flappy Bird, but i hope you would consider downloading it because it's FREE!
So why have i made a Flappy Bird clone? Well my game Mysteria seems to have faded out of the iTunes charts over the last month so i thought putting an advert on the home screen of my new game may bring the interest back.
when was your game released? i though app would not approve any more games with the word flappy on the title. i had to change my game for that reason, and hoping then to get approved.
Im willing to pay for a good flappy bird template i already bought the one on deep blue apps but I'm having a hard time changing the tubes to a different pic. Can anyone sell me there template cause this forum has some good ones.
@spock1234 JayLee made the Flappy Bird on DBA as our 3rd party supplier but you can contact him for free support via DBA instead of buying another one...why would you want 2?
I'm sure the problem your having changing the pipes to a new pic is an easy fix, it's 23:10 here in the UK but give me 10 and I will pm you.
You could always import a new pipe image named the same as the existing one and gs will overwrite it.
*Edit* I have just looked inside Jays template and the image name is pipe (how convenient) so make a new image of the pipe call it pipe and import and replace.

First game with Gamesalad !!! Done within 2 days ( including learning curve ). The other 3 days where used for submitting to store's signup to store's etc etc....
Cranky bird is really a funny must have niche game, please watch out! Tap the bird over the screen, that's all there is. Not sideways like flappy bird, but as a topview scroller. Do not try to hit the pipes as they will let you drop like a flappybird. Also keep watching the wind arrow. The wind will always push the bird off the wind. But wait, you can TAP, ah TAP and we are fine again.
