    @MarcMySalad‌ it seems to me that the only people who have a problem with this poll is those who do not possess much programming skill. There is no need to be upset or cause controversy, for one is not exactly expected to know code when using a tool such as Gamesalad.

    I completely agree with all of those who are saying that it doesn't matter what a discussion is about. If you don't like it, don't participate. It is as simple as that! Discussions like this build community among the GS users and let us see a different side of each other. In fact this poll WAS and IS beneficial to me as I can now see why people use Gamesalad. One might think that only those who cannot code use Gamesalad, but that is not always the case. (As seen in the above poll)

    @MattButlerStudios‌

    I see GS as a tool for creative expression, not as a programming language.

    Since we all have the need to express our creativity and ideas in some way, makes it great to have a tool like GS which is accessible to everyone. More so that a paint brush, musical instrument or programming language.

    Secondly it is about choosing the right tool for the job. I am not going to write a project in Swift if I can achieve the same result in a fraction of the time with GS.

    Another interesting poll might be what "real job" everyone has, that, I know will throw up some surprises. :)

    What has been going on in this thread...

    @Hopscotch‌ that would be a very interesting topic. We mostly likely all want to make games for a living, but that is not always the case unfortunately. Do you see a big difference in performance between an Xcode based app rather than one created with GS?

    Craziness.. haha not really. Just expressions of our feelings on what seems to be a "touchy" topic.

    @MattButlerStudios‌, if you see it in the light of "right tool for the job" then the speed difference between native and GS is of no consequence. If I need a tool for a data heavy app I would go native. For projects within the scope of GS, the benefits far out way any small speed difference. With good coding there usually is no perceptible difference.

    I have said it a few times before, GS is very capable and in the realm of 2D it does a very good job.

    Devs are usually too scared to throw real load at GS, but it can take it. It might need good clean coding logic though.

    @Hopscotch‌ very good to know that GS is a program capable of performing at a top notch level. I have been extremely satisfied with GS and love the experiences that I have had so far!
