Daily-Weekly-Monthly Sales

Hi all.
There have been many different topics on sales, so I decided to start a topic that anyone could just put how many sales they are getting a day, week, or month. You don't have to put anything, but I think that it would be interesting to see what everyone is getting. Also if you are doing something to promote your game, and you get good results, then that would be interesting to see also.
Thanks!

You simply dont learn do you. You got threatened with legal action for previous copyright theft. This time your up against an even bigger company.
Just because your game hasnt been pulled yet, that doesnt mean it wont be. Do you expect Apple to actually pay you any money made once they do pull it off the store? Consider yourself lucky if Nintendo dont sue you...
And admitting your wrongdoing on an open forum, and then announcing how much money your making from those illegal activities has got to be the single most stupid thing youve gone and done.
You really do like bringing attention to yourself, and what your up to, when really you should be hiding, and hoping no one notices you....
Its only a matter of time before you get yourself into some serious trouble....
Apologies CowTechMan for diverting your thread...

This is a video i made for the team...think i already posted somewhere else on the forum but anyway here it is.

Anyway, as for sales, I had 1 on my first day for Prankstar in the US store. On the second day I had 14, from various regions. Hopefully the upwards trend continues, though it's not my flagship app... that one is in the works No advertising apart from a couple of status updates on Facebook, which can't hurt, having over 1600 "friends". lol.
Hey DeadPixelZ - sounds like you have a lot of games in the works. You should consider limiting yourself to 1 or 2 at a time. It makes things more likely to get done. I used to start something new every few weeks and then found I never finished anything.
I guess they dont like the fact that DeadPixel took an existing game and put it onto the iPhone and made some decent cash while others are using their own ideas that are not too successful.
and I guess that it just really gets to people that their "Next Best Doodle Game" turns out to be just a bunch of hype by earning them $1.99 a day.
I'll admit I'm no success story, but I dont go around bashing other people success no matter how they came about it.
It seems that all of you seem to turn a blind eye when someone like Tshirtbooth copies a games and has success with it. If any of you didnt know Red remover is a flash game that can be found on addictinggames.com. Sure Tshirt added more of his own touch to it, but it boils down to the same thing he copied a game and was successful.
Now I am not Bashing Tshirt for this (like I said I dont care how you came about success I am happy for you), rather I'm bashing all you who has been giving DeadPixel a hard time. Give hime a break and treat everyone the same.
my good deed for the day.
I suppose you'd be ok with me piggybacking off Tshirtbooth's success by releasing 'Stardaze 2' - copying all of the game 'Stardaze' *including* all the same graphics.
I'd make loads of money like that.
Tshirtbooth wouldn't be happy with me. But why should I care if I'm being successful?
Oh. That's right. Because Tshirt can sue me for infringement of his copyright. Just like Nintendo could sue because Duck Hunt is their property. And because it's just plain wrong
It's in the GameSalad terms of service for God's sake:
"You further agree that you will not upload, post or otherwise make available on this Site or through the Gendai Games Services any material protected by copyright, trademark, or any other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner of such copyright, trademark or other proprietary right owned by a third party, and the burden of determining whether any material is protected by any such right is on you."
I'm not blind. I know that with several thousand games out, some will make 'versions' of other games. Indeed, there are a limited number of game 'types' to play around with. There's a difference though between being influenced by something and stealing it outright. Kitchen sink 'n' all.
I'm personally sick to death of the lack of ethics among some people here, and of others with games on the App store.

In other news... How about that "doodle cannon" game eh?
I didnt know removing a red block was a genre of game.
@ QS
I would be perfectly fine with you making a StarDaze2 I have no issue at all with that and its not my place to be worried about it. if there is an issue its between you and the original developer, but me being an outside 3rd party I have no concern and am happy you made some success.
To me what Tshirt and DeadPixel did are in the same ball park. Sure Tshirt did change the graphics and made his own levels i assume, but Red Remover is not a genre of game, so it was an idea that he copied same as DeadPixel. I just dont get why it seems everyone here is okay with it in some instances. No offense Pixel, but I guess since Tshirt seems to be more of a help to the community they dont ridicule him for it.
Like I said i'm not bashing either DeadPixel or Tshirt I am just bringing my point of view into this to let Pixel know its not him against the world when it come to the "controversy" of his game.
*sarcasm*
Can we please get back to talking about the topic at hand...because I find it rather intriguing being that I have an app in review as we speak.
Only app Sales of course
Im assuming that no one here works for the government let alone the branch that enforces copyright law, so it is an issue no one needs to worry about other than the "copier" and the "originator". (yes, I know assuming makes an ass out of myself but ill do it anyway)
I have noticed DeadPixel making comments in other threads and people pounce on him out of no where about being a game stealer. also in this thread as well it started as a simple question of game sales and it turned into everyone jumping on DeadPixel about his game.
If you all can seem to over look Tshirt I dont know why you all cant seem to over look DeadPixel as well. Like I said it is not our place to worry about it so there is no need to bash him about it.
So why don't you worry about yours, let them worry about theirs, and ill worry about mine.
HOW much $$$$$$ did YOU make yesterday!!!????
Anyways....
I hope I make as much as chosenone
Additionally, DeadPixel does not, as far as I know, have a pro account. Which means it doesn't just affect him and Nintendo, but also the reputation of everyone here when people see a copy of a game with the GameSalad logo on it when it loads up.
His first game, the volcano one, was picked up immediately by Miniclip (I think that's their name). The name was the same. The graphics pretty much identical (if a little worse) and his description was lifted word for word from the original flash game. He was forced to remove it pending legislation.
His second game was a pixel for pixel copy of Duck Hunt. Its description was copy and pasted from the Duck Hunt entry on wikipedia. It's no longer on the App store.
What do you not get about this? I'm utterly at a loss. And getting some sleep as it's almost 5am here...

Oh... and it's still in the App Store, unfortunately.
But yeah, rip-off merchants should stay well clear...
okay to prove my assumption wrong why hasn't anyone here called Nintendo to inform them of this "disgusting" display of theft?? if its still on the app store I assume that no one has complained to Nintendo yet. although to prove me wrong I suppose someone will call now Sorry DeadPixel.
as for me understanding, I do understand fully that there are copyright laws, but like I just stated if it bothers you THAT much why havn't you called Nintendo yourself to report this?? Instead you feel the need to constantly bash DeadPixel. obviously if it doesnt bother you enough to call Nintendo then why say a word to DeadPixel?
I'm 19, and I guess I grew up with the ideals of not judging someone no matter what. It is not my place to tell someone what they are doing is wrong and I firmly believe that as long as you are not harming me or my loved ones do as you please.
now I realize that the last statement there opens me up for criticism
"why are you telling us bashing pixel is wrong!? we should be able to bash pixel according to your logic!"
I guess i'm saying all this cause after see a few threads and posts just harassing the guy I felt someone needed to stand up for him and give him some kind of defense.
So yes, I am on my soap box right now and yes, I am trying to push my ideals onto people.
