Hey, everybody!
So, as I'm sure most of you are aware, there have been some issues with Apple's Application Loader and using it to submit GameSalad games to iTunes. Rest assured, we've resolved the issue with GameSalad 0.8.9 Beta, available now!
In GS 0.8.9 there are no longer any issues regarding Apple's Application Loader. We've also resolved the timing issue related to progress indicators, clock start time and actual game start time. All timers should now be in sync with the start of a scene.
In addition to these fixes, we've also thrown in a small graphic feature: additional blending modes. In addition to the normal, opaque, and additive modes, you can now choose screen and multiply as blending options. For a little more explanation on blending modes, check out this page on our Support Wiki. You can find these blending modes in the actor’s graphics attributes as well as in the Particles behavior.
So, for general overview, here's what you're getting in GameSalad 0.8.9 Beta:
1. Resolved Issues with Apple's Application Loader
2. Fixed Scene Loading Progress Indicator and Game Clock/Timer Issue
3. New Blending Modes: Screen & Multiply
A pretty small update, but a vital one we feel. And, believe me, there's some exciting stuff on the way!
In the meantime:
Download GameSalad 0.8.9 Beta now!

Thanks
Thanks for the new update and addressing the AppLoader issue!
Still can't quite get over the thought I am paying money to bug test someones pre-release software.
It keeps Forever in: connecting To Device.
Both work fine in preview but not when i build.
Darren.
The problems I had were for a project built in 0.8.7. Started the project fresh in 0.8.9 and lifted the xml bits from the package and now it works fine. Seems to be a compatibility issue with older projects.
- when I add a scene alll the scenes disappear (I must click on a scene and then again on "Home" for making the scenes appear again)
- same thing happens when I add actors to a scene:everything disappears from the scene and I must go to Home and then again on the scene to se the actors
- same things when adding/removing conditions to a rule
Looking forward to hearing about this 'Stuff' soon
I am using a Mac Mini with 2GB RAM.
