I have about 20 animations I loaded into the image library....to add later to game....I closed GS....came back to do my first one and they are all over the library and not even in a sequence anymore. Spent 30 minutes just deleteing them. No since in adding them again until I can commit to inserting them in all my actors. Will this have to be a submitted bug to get voted on you think ? Is there something "I" may have done ? I cant find any function to sort by date or name or anything. Kind of bummed about it at the moment. Please help Obiwonforum...your my only hope !

Not the only one with this issue, happened to me too in the last 2 releases and a few others in this thread at the end:

I guess at this point a bug report would be the proper thing to do.

Like @AlchimiaStudios says, this has been mentioned by a few people.
I've not experienced it, but I always animate with . . . . .
Constrain self.image to "run_"..floor(X)
. . . done like this (rather than using 'Animate') means the order in the Image Assets panel is irrelevant, as once they are imported you never need to actually select them or drag them anywhere.
I know that doesn't resolve your issue, but worth considering for the future. Maybe.
This should be fixed in the latest release i think!
