How are the Pinballer's going? Anything to share or show?
Dropped out, man. Working on other games in progress. I will do some pinball game at the end of the day, as I was an avid real-life (not video game) pinball player.
Similar situation to @mhedges as Ive had to put my game on hold while I work on finishing off another game I already had on the go, and do some paid contract work.
The jam extension is good, but it does mean the challenge can no longer be a priority for me.. as I've just got too many other things that need to get done. So I'll hopefully get back to it for a bit in a week or so, for a few days.
Then again, its the Global Game Jam at the end of the month, so that might get in the way too..!
I'm close to completion on my pinball app. Just need to add sound and finish a few features to make it more difficult and enhance the re-play factor. I'll share soon.
Not sure, maybe. The custom collisions poly feature is working well in the current build which was the whole point of the Pinball Jam. Only the Chefs can confirm for sure.

Hey folks,
Sounds like most folks had to drop out of this, with the exception of @Toby and @LostOasisGames -- are there any others who are still working on games?

I'm in, but only if we'll have custom fonts for it.
Also, my ball goes straight through my paddles sometimes, so that would need to be fixed. Is there no such thing as continuous collision detection in Gamesalad?

They are coming out with a fix for this in the next update.

You really need custom fonts for a pinball game? Come on..lol the collision issues I can see.

I guess I'm just really passionate about custom fonts. No feature would save me more time and effort. Also, I would be a little ticked off if I didn't get to use the feature that we were supposed to have a month ago. It's only fair.

Why don't you guys push this off until 1.25 is released? I think you would get more entries and I'm going to do some pinball videos to support the jam effort.
I think its safe to say Im out for definite. Got too much of a workload on, so haven't had chance to touch my pinball project for the best part of a month.
Got me started on a project Ive been meaning to do for a couple of years though... so not been wasted time... although its now officially sat in my ever increasing pile of half-finished game projects! :*

Since the pinball games will greatly benefit from the new features in 1.25 we're going to keep the pinball jam open until after 1.25 is released.

YES!
Good decision; another month is definitely needed for us.
Yep, extra month is good. I'm still figuring out the best settings to get the right feel and ball behaviour!

If build 1.25 isn't released in the next few days, will the jam be extended again?

Here is my entry, just put a little teaser video together to show what it looks like and the rough gameplay.

I'm still working on the graphics and bonuses etc. Still have to build Highscores, game over routines... better music, and add all the SFX etc.
The mechanics are all working.
Still plugging away on our table. Finally, have all the mechanics working ok(ish).
Now onto the graphics.

Trying to enter the Pinball Jam. Too late!
@ Lost_Oasis_Games: Awesome looking table.
Here's ours.
Really enjoyed doing this. My daughter has some great ideas and we have only started implementing them. This is still a beta WIP.
Here's our entry but we cannot enter from Hong Kong
Update: Alex from GameSalad just told me that we could.
As you can see, some of thr collision detection really needs 1.25's fixes.
Can't wait.
@Valan, love the multi-level thing you have going on there!

Great news.
Which is going to be this week right?

Fine by me more time to develop!
How long after 1.25 is out is the question?
