It's all good.
I'm gonna try finishing what I'm doing now, and test it on my iPod Touch. If I don't like the feel of it, I'm gonna kinda make a weird love child of Typing of the Dead and Resident Evil: Gaiden. In that most of the game will be a top down 8-bit survival horror game, but the combat between you and the zombies takes place on a different screen. IE, you run into a zombie on the main game screen and you shift to the Typing of the Dead like gameplay to combat that zombie, and in doing so, it would allow me some flex room with the randomizing of letters. So we'll see.

I think the Pro version is lacking for $2000. I think the Indie version is priced OK. I also think every time the Pro version gets a new feature the Indie people will get pist-off. This will make some Indie people quit using GS and some upgrade to the Pro. The question is how many will quit and how many will upgrade.
I don't think GS will change there business plan until they get some real competition. GS does make it easier to develop 2D games for Apple devices and I don't think there's any other product that can compete with it.
