    Thanks for everything guys, I'm trying to think of a way to pay you all back....have a few ideas.

    You can buy us Londoners (and gracious guests) a beer when I get round to organising another meet in September!

    Till then - all we can give you is our 59p and wishes for continued success! :D

    QS :D

    While some good games fly under the radar, generally if a game is good then it sells. Simple as that. Comparing to commove or arcade action, while the gameplay mechanics may be good and the coding solid and efficient the overall appeal and appearance is summed up for me by the picture of the woman on the title screen of commove.

    See, now this is progress. Visions of a possible game... NAKED PUZZLE DELUXE... no wait... it's doesn't start with the letter "A"... AWESOME NAKED PUZZLE DELUXE.

    I'm still not sure about the category issue. For example, if educational games had a better chance at success, would you make them?

    @utopiangames

    Maybe you should consider the pro version, make your loading screen, and your pc version in the link, too bad gs don,t have leader board right now!

    The pro is a waste of $2K imho, there's no way I'm paying $2K every year it's a rip off compared to other engines and only has a couple of extra features Vs express.

    Sorry but i feel pretty strongly about the over priced Pro, $1k one off payment count me in but $2K every year is ridiculous.

    Express is good enough for me even though i have a strong feeling all the good updates will require Pro if we all stick together and refuse to buy it they will have to bring the price down.

    Darren.

    Don't worry about it as most of us agree with you. It's nice to see yet another dev that COULD pay for it say that they WON'T at the current price... ;-)

    Agreed. I'd like to purchase the PRO version but I won't until it drops in price considerably. 2k a year is ridiculous.

    There's a show I watch. It's called America's Got Talent. When the results come in, it's not so much of a shock to me. It's pretty easy to predict what acts people will like and it's not such a surprise to see what rises up.

    Here, it's a bit absurd really.

    I disagree. I jumped straight on the forums as soon as I'd played bumps and posted "this is gonna be huge". I was right. The game was worth it and I had no doubt in my mind. It's easy to tell which games will do well. The great ones do, the crap ones don't. Unfortunately, even most average-fairly good games will get lost in the ether as there are simply too many apps.
