ToTB2 - Invasion of nazi robot penguins

Hi all,
Here goes, my game to be (with a working title..):
As a hero Penguin you are in charge of saving the Earth from the global warming caused by the evil polar Bear's Doomsday device. Equipped with a chill-suit that keeps you cold and alive and convinient jetpack you must shoot your way trough hordes of robot penguins - evil polar Bear's minions and finaly, defeat the Bear and destroy the device that lies in the depths of and arctic cave.

My goal is to make an action packed platformer. I'll start with a hero penguin, one minion, environment and a fun game mechanics and go from there.

In the meantime, here are some sketches and a character concept.

    Wow! As people have already said. Stunning art work..... I assume you do design / illustration for a living?

    Did an iPad mockup.. nothing is final yet, its just a sketch.. but i guess i'll go with this gameplay for now.. fly, don't hit the icicles, don't fall down, shoot everthing that moves, pickup radioactive green icecubes that fuel your suit and pickup other.. well.. pickups..

    May I ask what kind of software do you use for working on your graphics?

    i use photoshop and Intuos tablet.. but you can use free GIMP and cheaper Bamboo also, same functions..

    another update:

    penguin is flying and shooting! :)
    nazi robot penguins are walking.. no shooting and expoding yet..

    Update:
    Nazi penguins give you points for shooting them (they need to die better..), they drop a pickup (now every one of them drops it, it will be random..), when you press W for up, you burn fuel (green bar- green cause you will have to collect radioactive icecubes to get fuel..) and when it runs out you fall down (and die..)..
    still a long way to go, when i try to do a "control camera" everything falls apart.. i need to figure out how to fix it.. the object of the game will be to keep moving forward to get more icecubes and shoost more and more robot penguins..

    anyway.. hope you like it so far ;)

    ok maybe no that much but man, this pwns the socks off everyone else, especially mine :(
