    Nice! Drop the Nazi in the title and I'm in (I'm Dutch and no fan of Nazi, Nasi Goreng is more my taste ;)

    I'm Slovenian and no fan oz Nazis either.. but i still like the name, it's not about beeing a fan.. you get to shoot the Nazi Robot Penguins.. isn't that a good thing?!?

    It was either Nazis or Zombies and i think zombies are overused these days.. zombies vs. plants?? How random is that.. "zombies are cool, lets dosomething with zombies.. but.. what hasnt been done.. oh, look, there's a plant.. maybe.. YESSS.. zombies vs.plants!!!!" - nothing against the game though :)

    Anyways.. Nazi in the title stays (for now.. but its a working title so it might change), sorry..

    They've got a load of apps with Nazi in the title already so I wouldn't worry about that.

    Looking great! Is it going to be a scrollable/ will the penguin be able to stand on the ice?

    Looking truly great. Love the use of particles for the rocket flare.

    Your programming looks pretty sound too.

    I can't believe that's 3 days work... I need to up my game.

    Glad your finding the competition as an incentive to get work done. Nice to see it was worth the effort setting it up for games like this and all the others.

    Thanks for the support guys :)

    @RH: It will be scrollable, im just working on it now.. but the way i want to setup the robot penguins is giving me a little trouble.. the penguin wont be able to stand on the ice.. the object will be NOT to touch the ice (for some reason yet unknown to me :D ), to move forward and shoot as many robot penguins as possibe before they shoot you (they will shoot at you eventualy..).. and to avoid falling icicles.. and to pickup radioactive icecubes..

    @MagoNicolas: Coming from you thats a compliment.. EPig Games look awesome! :)

    Is there a way to add a poll to the top of the post or to separate post? Just out of the curiosity i wanna know how many of you think that the word NAZI should be dropped from the name.. :)

    Personally Nazis the word doesn't bother me, wolfenstein is awesome and it's full of them.... As long as your killing Nazis it's all good fun.... Unless your a penguin then you might be a little annoyed

    I think your control camera issue has to do with the camera origin offset. Heres what to do. Anything that uses the game.touch.1.X or Y must be an unlocked instance so that you can get to the camera attributes. So after unlocking anything that needs the touch coordinates you need to change "game.touch.1.x" to "(game.touch.1.x + scene.camera.origin.X)" and do the same for y using camera.origin.Y (duh).

    Game looks great!

    I'm not saying you MUST drop the Nazi in the name. Of course you can use it.
    But I didn't have to explain that I guess.
    It is something I would never use because it does have a negative vibe. It could give the idea that you just use it to get more attention which could backfire. I am not judging you so please don't take it personal.
    It's my 'professional' advise ;)

    Where did you get your drawing skills? Did you go to an art school?
    I really love it, the drawings alone made this project pop up in my mind for the last few days. I love dark stuff and this is dark but still comic like. Very very good!

    it does look awesome.

    can the enemy bullets go through the platforms? it seems they have an advantage over the hero, because the hero's bullets are destroyed when they collide with the platforms.

    looks fun!

    ozboybrian: thanks! and yup, my first game ever that is THAT complete :) i was using various game engines before (unity, virtools, UDK and such..) but i was always "testing" and "learning" things, never really doing anything serious ;)
    Now, GS is so easy - start with something that kinda works, then just put layers on layers (behavior on behavior) and out comes something that could be a real game!! :)

    Anyway.. can't really give you general tips on artwork (i could tell you my workflow but that wouldn't help you much since it is pretty standard - sketch, refine, base color, shadows on multiply, highlights, smudge, more highlights).. If you want to know something specific just ask! :)
