I like that idea tenrdrmer. Kina like logic game box. Even though that one was free I seem to think even the payed "42 games in one" type of apps do rather well, initially at least. As well as that if the GS are up for I'm sure they wouldn't mind promoting it left right and center.
I like the idea of those project management tools, skype group discussions etc etc.
More thinking of ideas on the idea
- Could hold a 3 day Think Outside the box style contest, where everyone who wants to puts together their proof of concepts for a game idea. We then have a poll to vote for the game idea that is best. They could either submit working example using blank placeholder actors in GameSalad or simply write up what they think the game would look like with a few scrappy sketches.
Then maybe 10 developers get selected (not sure how) to work on the game.
Investment idea... Each developer puts in $50....
$99 pays for a new joint Apple Developer account (group discussion to think of joint name... e.g. GameSalad AllStars).
Then the remaining $401 goes towards legal contract write up, and then any thing left can go on advertising for the game, stock graphics, sounds. This fee would also give each member of the group 10% ownership of the game, and so 10% of any profits after Apple takes their cut. It would also make each member who signs up have something invested in the game so they would want it to succeed.
Not actually sure how hard/expensive writing a contract would be, but could be worth looking into if people were interested in doing something.
.... Otherwise as mentioned by someone earlier, A completely free game made by the community and given away for free would be the other option, with links to users games as a reward for the effort. This could be a more relaxed affair with everyone on the community getting invovled and endless polls getting things approved....

Shouldn't be any issue All Games would be built on their own project and then once they are complete they would be merged into one project and some sort of badass menu setup to link to all of the games.

Exactly Logic Game Box was paid at some point if I remember right.
Just an idea. And Stormy I think your on the right track for a single game joint team. although I would expect for apple to accept the dev account you will need a legit business setup between everyone.
This is sounding very good. The game I have in mind would fit perfectly in this kind of app. Just need to pitch it to you all. I wouldn't have gamesald in the group name.... seen as it's (sadly) looked down upon by many on the app store. Something like the "Elite Team Games" and the splash screen could be 10 fists going in for a massive fist pound, and they touch with a force so indescribably large, mountains shift and the ground shakes then a manly explosion envelops the screen leaving the Elite Team Games logo!
.... just a thought.

something like this could be reworked, and sent out to each developer.

Sorry what I was talking about is the score, I found that only one custom score font can be used at a time.(at least this was my problem)
Game 1 score font would override game 2 score font and so. I wish GS would let us use custom fonts without the stupid png workaround.

In the floor(( game.Score % self.dividr )/( self.dividr /10))..".png" expression, coulndt you just put +10 at then end and just name the images accordingly. So 0.png would 10.png and 1.png would be 11.png so on so on.... Then for the 3rd game do +20 at the end and name the .png file 20 21 22 ect......? Or am I not thinking it through properly?

If thats the case then i'm pretty much for sure in. but I don't think that can be done. I believe apple pays the full balance to one bank account.
I'm not crazy about paying up for this, making an LLC, entering contracts, etc. But, I think this is an awesome community project, so I'm totally willing to do some volunteer work.

Here's another nice looking management tool. http://projectfork.net/

Small teams would be better... maybe people could create teams of 6-8...
Everyone could say what there skill is and then teams could be formed
2x Devs
2x Art
1x level design
1x Sales & marketing
1x Audio
+ beta testers
...just an idea
Cheers, Weswog

*Edit* to brainstorm, how about an open to all devs google docs document that everyone can put down ideas in?
floor(( game.Score % self.dividr )/( self.dividr /10)+(10))..".png"
