Good luck with setting up the team NextGenEntertainment.
I'm a bit busy slowly finishing off two projects at the moment, but at some point would be interested in setting up a little group to make a game. Though I'd like to look into working out shared revenue rather than ad links... it could be a really simple game to start off with to get used to working as a group, iron out any problems and then the group could get better and better...
Yes, but my idea really is not for money, but for the community. If you haven't realized (today I received 87 emails involving this topic) my project is causing the community to work as a team & do things for each other at no charge. Starting tomorrow a spectacular GameSalad member is building me a full on social network site for this program for people to post their progress at no charge! I am bringing the community together & I hope people recognize that.
I think this can be a good and bad idea, and really hope it works. I think it's an obvious good idea to make this a free game and am willing to help maybe with graphics or game/level design. Sharing profits would be a mess, and having better visibility in freeaps could promote the GS program and community if it ends up in an awesome game.
Small teams are better for organisation and artistic direction (more than 5 is a mess). I've seen so many of those projects fail in other game making communities, but it doesn't mean it can't work. As some people noted, it might be hard to keep game graphics and vision consistent. This is why I think maybe this should be a different type of game, purposely going for an artistic chaos. Think of a party game.

Hi, my project IS going to be huge! But it will all be organized by my website coming out soon. It's free, for the community
