Just started porting a science game to flash with this! Great find!
I NEED my games to be available for students to play online on PCs. I have been begging GS to make this happen for YEARS (not an exaggeration) and I am so relieved to have an alternative if GS can't get it done.
I just implemented the control system for having an actor constrain to the mouse with an offset. Took my less than 20 minutes to DL the software and set up a test scene!
GS better hurry! (And remember, I have been accused numerous times of being a GS fanboy (because it's true))

Please learn common sense. If said stupid, complaints are made.

Please learn general common sense. If you boast about something, you generally have to have some proof!
In relation to Stencyl - I spoke to the guy that heads the company a while back - January I think. But I was too busy with GS projects to really give it a proper go (and there was no ios exporting then, so it seemed a bit silly to make games with it when I could publish to iphone with GS).
So it looks very nice, and if anything ever happened to GS then it would be interesting to have a closer look at it.

OMG how did this turn into a legal preceding? your really not complain this to a court Case are you? otherwise i'll be forced to aid the prosecution in the things I know.
Dude your like 13 years old. If you would stop trying so hard to be a big shot people will slowly gain respect for you.
I heard a bit of it a while ago, but now that it plan iphone export I'm really gonna keep an eye on it.
Selecting multiple actors and rotating them? Sounds like this thing got some solid features.
My only complaint is the game in their video runs a bit slow. I wonder if it's nearly as fast as GameSalad. I'm also getting pretty much into GS so for not I don't feel like switching program again.

Well it looks like this program is going to have to collect a bit of dust in my hard drive for awhile, I tried testing a example game and it was stuck at loading until I got bored and closed it. So much for that

BIGSHOT, Look; I'm sorry if my attitude is not appealing to you but please, read what I've wrote.
My first post here: "^^^ Will definitely take a look Trying to learn some corona over the summer."
BOOM instantly attacked with "I would suggest you learn GS first."
Then this "NextGen, you know ... you would not have to keep telling people how much you know GS if you just made a few games to prove it!"
Then DreamLab tests me "Any games to prove so?"
I try to defend myself in a non-rude to say something that is true about law. "Please learn Law. The defense DOES NOT have to prove innocence, the prosecution must prove guilty. The burden of proof is on the prosecution."
Then attacked "Please learn common sense. If said stupid, complaints are made."
And attacked "Please learn general common sense. If you boast about something, you generally have to have some proof! "

I don't like to argue guys, I just don't appreciate it when people make me feel low. If you haven't seen my ability, there's no reason to put down on it. Saying something like "I can't wait to see what you have done" is completely acceptable & said in an amazing way.
Please note- by attacked I do not always mean attacked in a hateful manner, sometimes just making me look bad
I respect everyone in this community. It is filled with amazing people! Please, let's move on & make some amazing apps.
Look matt, I have nothing personally against you. The reason for the "attacks" is the things you do. From my perspective it seems that you try to act as a sous chef. And it gets a little old after a while. All this stuff about your service and things like that are just getting old. I hope you understand. But I am just getting annoyed. that is my reason for these comments.

Completely understood bro. I just have been able to help all of the people who have hired me. I'm sorry if I have gotten a little too much. I just would really appreciate if everyone could wait to see some of my upcoming projects They would change my reputation completely!
so, to keep these sort of conflicts down, why don't you show some gameplay video or something? either that, or just don't talk about it until you are ready. you have to understand where people are coming from, you have not produced anything yet for people to see.
Ahem... Anyways, I quickly gave it a go. When I looked at the website, I was impressed. When I tried it for real, I was completely amazed! You could do sooooo much with it, and what's interesting is that it was released this May, and has already surpassed GameSalad in terms of features and potential audience. Cool stuff.
I'm going to check this out. GameSalad is currently making it impossible for me to publish anything or distribute in anyway... which is sorta the whole point.
Imma give this new thing a look, but in reality I should probably just hunker down and go code
There's so much that can be done, for sure, and new possibilities for creative minds. Making money, on the other hand, might be trickier... I'd bet there's going to be some exorbent fee, and complaints will ensue. But maybe it's worth it for publicity alone.
After all the drama, I forgot who actually posted it?
Until "sound" gets alittle more attention especially when combined with HTML, Flash is the only way to deliver but the downside is that the apple mobile devices can not access it. How ever, the new blackberry play book can (I think) .
On my site, http://littlecomposers.com ive just embeded one of my trumpet apps which I made for the iPad. The graphics are exactly the same as in the iPad version but the sounds are new.
So far, I am getting good feedback but there is still a lot todo....
Again, thanks. I will check it out later and hopefully, it will help me in one way or another.
Funny how this topic went from Stencyl to legal arguments. Stencyl looks interesting, I'll check it out.

How is gamesalad making it impossible for you to publish? they gave you free software that works great.

But I'm sticking with GS.

Back on topic, this certainly looks interesting. I'll give it a try for a flash game and see how well it works.

BTW, with GS having slow load times, bugs etc, I just like how members are finding solutions for those problems. Exercises the brain and all.
