I also hope that someday you will see the light, claim back your life and stop believing in things like fairies, unicorns, gods, santa claus or flying spaghetti monsters.
Status Apps, One piece of evidence why God is real and the bible is- God changes people. If a person prays to god then god will answer. Homeless people that have prayed have been able to get jobs and people that need help with something that pray will get your prayers answered. I will 99.99% guarantee you, if you pray to Jesus not just god in general about one solid fact or something to make you believe that god is true then God will answer your prayers. If you say to god "I am going to be optimistic and ask you to give me some evidence that you are real within the next few days" I guarantee you that god will answer you in some way. Just try it

er.... that is slightly ridiculous. So some homeless people that pray get help while others don't. What about those who pray for people suffering terminal illness and then the person dies? Were they not as worthy as those homeless people?
What you are saying really is that some people who pray for something actually end up having that thing happen, while the majority do not. Sounds a lot like normal life. I thought about how it would be cool to have sunny weather today, and it is! That's not god, just probabilities. Some days if I said that it might rain the next day, just depends. But to decide that the times it does happen is because mystical sky man (god) made it happen is kinda silly.
That's really not evidence, it's just attributing good things to god and ignoring not good things.
God has a plan for everything. You mentioned that someone that would be suffering from an illness dies. Then it was gods plan for that person to die and be with him in heaven so the person stops suffering from the illness. If you would just pray and ask god to show proof of himself to you then most likely he would. All you have to do is genuinely pray to god and keep an optimistic mind. You are arguing about something that you never even tried. What you are saying is just like saying "People can not swim underwater because people can not breath underwater" In reality people can swim underwater because they can hold their breath. How could you make the argument that people can not swim underwater if you have never tried it. This is just an example but you get the point

But surely if everything is god's plan then there is no need to pray for good things to happen, it's already decided for you.
I don't think I would be able to pray genuinely enough. God would be able to read my mind using his special powers and know that I'm not genuine. But, not wanting to be unreasonable I will ask god in the nicest way I can for him to prove himself.
In converse, how about you try to live without praying or going to church for a couple of months. Spend the time reading all about advances in scientific understanding of the world around us. I assure you that your life will carry on without a problem and you'll learn some amazing things.

Also, I'm devastated about the Santa issue, which *still* hasn't been resolved.
