We have updated the template to 1.3 and fixed the judder and also the gravity glitch caused by the 0.9.80 update,

Mails have been sent out to all that purchased and our shopping cart has the new version uploaded and ready to go.

Thanks for your patience with this it has certainly caused a headache or 2 as we tried to figure out some changes in 0.9.80.



The previewer doesn't seem 100% to us so please test on your devices.

    Does look fab, but isn't it just another iCopter, albeit with much better graphics? I think there's already a few iCopter style templates on here?

    Watch the video again. There is a LOT more to Jetpack Joyride. For those of us who aren't familiar with any coding language, including the Gamesalad's attribute language... you can never have too many templates.

    I have been playing this game for the last three days off and on and its superb, Id love a template based on this, providing it included the mechanics for the power ups/vehicles and the like.

    Yeah, don't get me wrong, Darren you're amazing, but there's a lot of templates like this. The only thing that separates this game from iCopter is the graphics. The coding for this is pretty easy. I have made several different types of iCopter games, and have an iCopter template for sale too. If you would make graphics that we could use for it, I'd look into it, but other than that I would not spend your time on this. :) By the way, I have just about all of your GS tools and templates ;)

    This is Far different form iCopter, have you really Played?

    I have vechicles, Gambling coins, coins, shop, achievements, ranks, missions.

    I know, don't get me wrong, the game (and utopian games) are amazing, but for a template, I don't know. Normally, a template would not have the rankings, coins, and achievements. It would just be a basic "template."

    Well, sometimes you can do more than a "basic" template. This type of game requires a little more than a simple endless running rig. Coins, a store, and maybe a "power up" of some sort isn't outside the realm of possibility, I don't think.

    +1, I think in order to stay competitive in the template market here at GameSalad, you've got to consistently raise the bar. Adding all the bells and whistles would really make it a great template that would target a large audience. Just my two cents :)

    Wow, looks great!

    Will there be mid-ground element parallax as well? In the "Underwater" section of Jetpack" there is some nice parallax and it'd be great to get some in the template.

    Added a random position, rotation and length for Zappers along with a random spin Zapper so it will be different each run.

    I would say between 1-2 weeks, its a fairly big template and were also working on a new Angry Birds template at the same time.

    If your signed up for our newsletter over at DBA (buy anything free or paid and your on it) then you will be the 1st to know when we have new templates and tools.
