@theCodeMonsters I'm trying hard to stay with you here. So I open the CodeMonsters iPad app and drag an actor to the top of a scene. Then, I double-tap the actor and drag in a behavior (e.g. Move direction 270 speed 50). Then I tap the Export button and it (somehow) saves a csv file to my device, which can be synced with my Mac. I sync up the data and import that csv file into your GameSalad GSBot template. I click the Go button and GSBot reconfigures itself to be the game I designed on the iPad. When I press Preview in GameSalad, I can see my actor fall down from the top of the screen.
Looks awesome, I was impressed with your first demo, but this is awesome. Although I still have the same worries as John, performance will be a big factor.
Good Luck, when you are ready to beta test I would be happy to help if I am free.
I'm not entirely sure because I don't read the Gamesalad TOS daily, but maybe the use of editing the project file doesn't terminate the TOS. The DBA apps change the project file, so would be worth asking the guys at GS. If you could create a series of XML files that build in to a project file that GS can read, you could effectively build a full project on iPad
@youngster9 Yep, I'm going to go ahead and start taking submissions for alpha testing. Click here to sign up. @mynameisace I sent an email and they said they wanted to talk to me about it but i didn't get anything back. I'll send another email but as I read the TOS they talked about how editing the .app and .gameproj is prohibited without permission.
But don't worry everyone, if i'm going to build this thing. It's going to be good. And I won't release it if I can't have it meet good standards. This includes it's speed. And with the new Engine coming out, It should be pretty fast.
Update: I'm going to start taking submissions for alpha testing of GSBot. You can click here to sign up. I'll be taking submissions for about 2-3 weeks. Plenty of time to get people who want to test.
@theCodeMonsters - We have not received any communication from you via Customer Support regarding the GS Bot application you are developing. Please contact us (via our Contact Form) to discuss the development of this and any potential TOS violations.

If they havent given you permission to do any of what your doing, then you should stop developing till you get it.
@patapple either should work, well figure it out when the time comes. @LaurenSalad thanks so much for contacting me, and I sent it to your business email. But I'll send another but via customer support, and thanks again for contacting me! Oh and I was talking to someone named Michael Agustin and he stopped emailing me back (I think he's out of town or something).
@JohnPapiomitis And I've said it before but, I have great respect for GS. If they say no, I'll stop. But I decided to start getting the easy parts of development out of the way, because i simply couldn't help myself .
No problem! We are happy to be in touch and investigate this issue with you.
For future reference, the best and only way that developers should initiate contact with GameSalad is to contact us via the customer support form. That allows us to properly track and triage issues as they arise.
@SaladStraightShooter thanks for hittin me up here, and I do have one question about the TOS, just sent you a PM Go Check out my Progress on GSBot! Follow me on Twitter
Signed up for alpha testing, I am still in school but when I am free I will test the alphas when they are ready. This is shaping up to be really good. The hardest part though might be trying to finish, this is a long project and you will have people harassing you for new features everyday.
There is now a deadline for anyone else who wants to sign up for alpha testing. The amount of people already signed up is absolutely amazing! The Deadline is
This Friday (May 18th) @ 11:59pm in Los Angeles time
On the following monday I will release the first alpha test with Test flight. Another note: I will select 10 people for test flight. This means that your not guaranteed a spot if you sign up. I will select the most interested people who sign up, for example, commenting/asking questions will help show your support and interest in this project. If you are not selected, don't worry, I will be asking for a lot more people when I start beta testing.
Thank you to all who sign up, and everyone will get an email from me this saturday. Click Here to sign up.

This is awesome! The UI is really starting to take shape.
I signed up for alpha testing a couple of weeks ago (I believe while you were on your break)... Will you send any confirmation or anything about that?
Thanks
Aaron
