Seen nearly every game so far and myself and Chris from Sprite Attack had some good convo about it so far.

Who are you supporting?

Who do you think will win?

One last thing...Come on England!

Of course! Don't finish work till 5.30 but they let us watch the early kick off there, so watch half hour there, get home for half time and watch the 2nd followed by the late KO .. Haven't missed 1 yet and not intending to either ... GS development has certainly slowed right down. ha.

Who are you supporting? - England

Who do you think will win? - Spain/Germany

Buzzing for Friday .. Come on England indeed!

I'm from Poland, so I watch it :) There was a great match between Poland and Russia.

How do you like our new stadiums? :)
  • beefy_clyrobeefy_clyro Member Posts: 5,394
Poland v Russia was a quality match ... Really enjoyed it, definitely one of the best with open, attacking football ... End to End!

Shame about all the fighting though!!!

Stadiums are nice, pitches generally look nice too ... seen the odd complaint from players though on the pitch.

    Forza Italia!

    My next choice is Portugal.

I have a browser window on my iMac with a live streaming of the events. That way I can work and follow the matches at the same time.

Who are you supporting? - Italy image

Who do you think will win? - Germany or Italy (I'm biased, I know :) ), but if I had 10€ to bet I will probably go for an outsider: Russia

  • beefy_clyrobeefy_clyro Member Posts: 5,394
Saying Italy to win is less biased than me saying England to win. lol.
Russia is a good outside bet, playing very well at the mo and could just be the dark horse!

    Watching.

I'm supporting the Netherlands. Of course it's been an awful tournament thus far. I'm a fan of about a half dozen of the teams though.

I got Germany vs. Spain in the finale. Hopefully Germany wins.

I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow. Ukraine made things a little interesting in the group by securing 3 pts over Sweden.I was a little surprised that France outshot England by as many shots as they did.

I was impressed by Danny Welbeck and his pace. Looking forward to see what he can do next game. Are you familiar with him or follow him much?

England are unfortunately an average team and i wasn't surprised with Roy Hodgson as manager, we played how we played against France. The best we can hope for is to emulate the way Greece won the Euros in 2004.

As for Welbeck, quality player with plenty of promise. Man Utd loaned him out and he gained a lot of 1st team experience, since coming back, Sir Alex Ferguson has now made him a 1st choice striker with Rooney .. keeping out last years golden boot winner Berbatov and promising Mexican Hernandez.

Really unsure what line up Hodgson will pick for Sweden, might be a game for Andy Carroll and maybe a couple of changes in midfield ... Going to be interesting!

I watched Germany - the Netherlands yesterday. I believe I dozed of. I am no football fan and this match reminded me why. =P~

@LudwigHeijden - ok... if that game put you to sleep there is no hope you will become a football fan... it was a really good kick imho.... even better seeing I support the German team and like @WTDeveloper hope they will win this (finally)...

    Who are you supporting?
    Germany

Who do you think will win?
    Germany
(but I am fine with anyone else if it's not the Spanish/ Italian or French - Spain has won enough and it's getting as boring as they game, Italians are still diving primadonnas with egos too big for their own good and the French, well they are French... and after the WorldCup all those players should have been banned for life for the national squad... I just don't like their attitudes at all)

I nearly had a bet on England not winning any games as i always lose when i bet so hoping that they did better than my bet if ya get me?

Would make my year if England did it but being realistic i think Germany or Spain.

So much for confidence into your national squad...

Supporting spain, but think germany will win the euro. Spain have the best midfields out there, but lacking the finishing in villa. I would choose Llorente over Torres anytime, Llorente had a great season while Torres was not as good as before. Germany squad consists mainly of young talented footballers, and their midfield which i think, is the next best after spain's. And Gomez is in brilliant form now!

I'm with Darren (and others) in supporting England (but also with much regret don't think they will do so well). Germany's organizational skills and confidence is impressive so I tip them to win it ... great thing about soccer is you just never know ... sometimes the team that shows up with the most heart beats out the team with the most talent.

Yeah, sorry about this! We have a big opposition party in our parliament - they are conservative. This is a party for poor, old, uneducated, and unemployed people. It's called Law and Justice (this is a translation to english). They have their own newspaper - Polish Newspaper Everyday, and they urged people to fight with russians during Euro. They think that our prime minister is like Saddam Hussein, and that he falsified the elections - even if we had international commission who said, that the election was fair (so Law and Justice said that this international commission was paid to said that). Law and Justice thinks that there is democracy when they win, and there is no democracy if they lose. And they lost 6 elections in a row.
The leader of Law and Justice - Jaroslaw Kaczynski, was a prime minister once, but he was quickly removed by people. His twin brother was our president, who died in a plan crash in Russia. So Jaroslaw Kaczynski is sure that his brother was murdered by our current prime minister, and Russian president. Facts and evidence show that it was just an accident, but he thinks that there was a bomb on the airplane, or that it was shot down by a laser.
And as I said - theirs newspaper - Polish Newspaper Everyday - said that we have to fight with russians in our capital - they want to discredit our real, current government and prime minister, by doing this.

Most of our society hate both Law and Justice, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, and Polish Newspaper Everyday, but hooligans loves them (because those hooligans, are "great patriots, and real "true Poles" in the words of Polish Newspaper Everyday).

One more time - please accept our apologies, for these assholes.

Vamos España! I think they will win after seeing them go 4-0 today. Lived there for a year and it's great fun to keep chatting about it con mis hermanos sevillanos ; P. Btw, Euro 2012 + Summer makes it hard to keep gamedev work going as fast, but definitely worth it!

Anyone using an App to keep tabs on the games. I have this one: http://tinyurl.com/brgelsp but it might be Canada only not sure. Its pretty cool ... allows you to see goals and pick any camera angle to watch. Also Spain were excellent and happy Torres got some goals. I don't support Chelsea but I like him as a player so I hope he gets back to what he used to be like for Liverpool. (Go England!)

Not a chance of Irish fans in the house ;) I'm Irish and i just gave up after we got thrammed the firs time; I wasn't expecting us to win against spain so I wasn't disappointed.... All though Fabregas and Torres pretty much lead spain!,
