Seems to me that the new iPhone 16:9 ratio will be a very similar issue that GameSalad has already solved with the different aspect ration between the iPad and the iPhone. I am 100% sure GS will update the publishing side of things to include iPhone 5 as an option just like iPad is a separate option now. Then all we have to do as game developers is to tweak the different versions according to their respective aspect ratio and then publish each version for test or to go live.
Hey guys, i'm wondering what's the best way to anticipate the new iPhone screen resolution. For example, should I use the iPhone resolution independence and then modify the screen size to 1136x640? I'm not sure what is the best way to build iPhone games considering all 3 target resolutions: 480x320, 960x640 & 1136x640. Thanks
@ecanhoj iPhone 5 is retina device just like 4s and 4. To make a game look good on iPhone 5, make graphics twice the size of the actors. Say you have an actor that's 32x32, make the image 64x64.
