I went to test my game after I installed iOS 7 and had problems with my game as well. I experienced a crash on startup and it started up real slow. I also noticed that the sound is not working in my game now. Puts me in a bad spot because it is being sold in App Store and doesn't work right. I'm going to delete app and reinstall from cloud to see if that helps. I'm not a pro user so I don't have access to nightly builds.
Ok I deleted app off my iPad and downloaded it again from the App Store cloud. It started slower than normal but worked. The sound was there again. I'm out of panic mode!
I tested 18 games and got mixed results. Some games will work then crash and other times they will not crash and work as expected. Only one game would crash on start up every time which is consistent. It will take a while before IOS 7 is fully rolled out to all devices in addition with any new OS release there is always some issues ... Provided our games are fixed within a week I think it will be ok ... When IOS 6 was released it caused a major issue when syncing with MS Outlook. It would have been nice to have the IOS 7 support earlier but that is the way it is ...
Also waiting for the new build. A question to old released games, which are in the stores: They work, right? Or must they all get a new version? I test a bit and get no crashes...
@MarcoCol The games work fine on IOS6 but there are random crashes with IOS7. If your game has one or two scenes it will not crash as much if it has lots of scenes it seems to crash more when the game changes between scenes. That is what I found when I was testing my games. I will update all my games but start with the ones that crash the most. I also updated my iPad only to IOS7 and left my phone on IOS6. I want to make sure that the IOS7 support does not break my games on earlier versions of IOS .. Hope this helps ;-)
@Neoman: Well, most of my game have a lot of more than a handful scenes. And now I found out, that my most popular game doesn't start anymore. Most of others doesn't have problems. That's not good.

"I can understand the upset. We're doing our best. If all goes well we'll have the update out for you tomorrow. It's not like we've been ignoring iOS 7. But the final version of it threw us for a loop. Ah, well, them's the breaks.
Thanks for your patience while we work this out!"
The fix will be here soon. If you have an update for your most popular games with in a week you will be ok. There are always issues with major software releases. We are just unlucky because if there is a bug with the game engine it affects us all. The fix will be here soon.
For all you complaining your apps don't work - Dropbox is dodgy - Google maps is broken (for me anyway) - that's a big company and an even bigger company - and I understand people are rolling out heaps of updates with iOS7 design changes and code and stability refinements at the moment as there's so many updates happening.
So for us - and me particularly, I rely on this engine to make games and can't code it using ObjectiveC and a physics engine - then please realise we are getting the chance to build games because of everything GameSalad does give us. There is a price to pay for that at times but it's part of the trade off - we just need a little patience and understanding at these times
Did anyone think that it makes sense to add an info in the description of the app, that there are problems with iOS7, which will be cleared next week? Then after updated the app, this info can be deleted. Or can't it be deleted? I mean, if we get an update in the next hours and update the apps, Apple need again something between 5 and 10 days to approve it and currently no one buys our app. So this can be done to let user maybe come back and download a later version?
As I said before everyone will have issues even the big companies. This happens most every update. So far there is only a 29% adoption of iOS 7. For some of you guys the sky is always falling and your game will fail because of a few days waiting for an update. Relax already, we tie our games to our Facebook so fans know where to go to see info. We posted an iOS 7 update is coming Ina few days thanks for your patience. This is how business works everything is never smooth for any company big or small. If you know how to handle your customers and communicate with them et... You will be fine. Half of you don't even keep up with the threads. GS has said from the first seed they were working on iso7 support and were informing us all along the way. Yet I read too many uninformed people claiming this was an eleventh hour GS just getting to it, which is flat out wrong. Too many of you go off half cocked because you don't stay informed on a tool you claim is tragically vital to you. If it was so damn important to you what weren't you keep up with the threads? If you even want a hint of having decent success you better be sleeping and eating this stuff or frankly your just a pretender with unrealistic expectations of sucess. You can bet your competition is living this stuff full on and you think your half ass effort is going to get you on par with them? This is why 80% of the people around here last maybe a year or so and they vanish. The think they can half a$$ it and break in to a highly competitive business. That's a fantasy.
@squirell42 the truth is generally not pleasant. Anyone who has spent any years around here know it. You can watch the forum and see the cycles of people. Usually these are the people you don't spend the time to learn the tool or read the iTunes guide or the developer documentation. They have unrealistic expectations about game making usually it only takes two games and their gone. Many after their first game doesn't meet their unrealistic download expectations their gone. The handful of people around here who help and inform. Gyroscope, tenerdrmr, jonmulcahy, kevincross,RP,slickzero et. These people can help because they did and continue to do all the above. They don't have unrealistic expectations and understand this is a highly competitive business. It involves work lots and lots of work and dedication and study on a continuous basis. I would guess there aren't more than 30 people who have been around here four years or more. The only thing that prepares you for the road ahead is being aware of the reality of things and learning how to overcome them.
