Wayyyyyy late. we are talking about getting drunk.
I've sobered up now, run out of toilet cleaner, it's not good, I now have an overwhelming desire to eat human flesh, but if I can't get human flesh pizza will do.

This is how it starts, the Zombie Apocalypse is here... And they know how to use forums!!
Hi guys I appreciate your concern about my post. But does anyone have any ideas regarding my original question, which I will rephrase.
Is there any known issues with games that are using timestamps? Because it's not device specific anymore as I firstly assumed, the timestamp was tested on Ipad, Hudl and Samsung phones... and the inactive time totally messes up, and the total elapsed time of the App jumps in time.. I had two people saying that something changed with GS creator possibly how it compiles the file.. Should I raise a ticket with GS as well while tatiang is working on his side of things?

there wouldnt be any problem if i post my code , but there would be a problem if i put a template that i bought and said that i too made the same code
But that isn't what he said, and the above post proves it clearly. Imagine the situation: you are making YOUR game. It I sn't working. you download a template to test the same type of code, to see if you made a mistake somewhere. It doesn't work either. You need to ask for help.
Why would you post the code of the template, if you want a solution to YOUR game?

cause seriously if this thread wasnt closed i would buy templates and just say that i too made the same code here it is

This is why I was asking such a basic question (which seems to have been swerved more than once) - should tatiang have dealt with the question, a situation where he would have doubtlessly be seen as hypocritical ? Maybe the answer was to let the thread exist but he took no part in it
Personally, I wouldn't mind if he took part in the thread as well. If he wrote about the general problem, which the OP asked about, why should there be an issue? Just because tatiang also made a template which deals with this, does not preclude him from joining in, especially if he keeps the advice to general explanations that can be helpful whether you have the template or not. If it was so template specific it wouldn't be helpful to anyone who hasn't the template, then yes, but I can't see that happening here, necessarily.
For very template specific matters he could send a PM as well, no reason not to, but that doesn't mean the thread becomes pointless and needs closing.

I suppose what we (me, you, tatiang, everyone, except for Mateen) are dealing with at this stage are perceptions rather than practicalities
I agree with you here a lot. My whole reaction and involvement in this thread was not based on tatiang's actions but rather on Armelline's radical opposition to FINNBOGG, without trying to see any merit in what he was trying to say (albeit also with strong conviction out of the box).

Tatiang reopened the original thread, might be best to go back there to ask.
In order so people can understand and help you better, it could be beneficial if you can post a bit of your own code that doesn't work, so it can be analyzed.

Just so it is ABSOLUTELY CLEAR. There is NO intellectual property with a template, except the art, the sound and the music. Copyright covers the EXPRESSION of an idea... NOT the methodology.
You are not being very helpful here. Approaches like yours is exactly why threads where people need genuine help get closed.
Especially if copyright law doesn't protect templates, the community and mods will try to protect them, because we value the work people put in them. And that's good. When you buy a template, you are buying a template, not an asset pack (which can be bought separately). You are paying for solutions and mechanics in game logic. So you don't post them. That usually IS and SHOULD BE understood. It's called courtesy and common sense.
Ok guys here's the original post lets actually solve some a real problem for the benefit of us all! I think we all know what should be shared and not shared, but anyway I don't want to full more this discussion.

Sadly, that only shows something about yourself.
