    there is no special setting to make a adhoc, you just publish and generate the file and download it and then you transfer to your ipad, does it works ok on the viewer?

    if you use the ipad size , so your big background image size will be 2048x1536, so no need to make images for iphone 5. so yes the images are compatible for iphone 5 and iphone 4.
