    I think most androids have a wide screen, so if you go with iPad for base project, plan it so it crops for iPhone 5 like resolution.

    I noticed how fuzzy it appeared, so I tested it out by generating the app as an iPad build and the icon (as you can see) came out quite a bit sharper than the universal build.

    hi, most of my games i did them in iphone legacy with 480x320 screen size, and to make it available for ipad all i do is change the project to ipad landscape and in each scene i change to camera size

    Maybe this might not suit you but if I were you I would have made this ipad only. On the other note, I think your first idea might work, although it might upset the user.
