Photics said: The printed book? I'm not sure. I already ripped up the box and the invoice.
I found another Lulu invoice. It listed "Raleigh, NC" as their address. I'm not sure if the books actually come from there though. I thought that the books were printed from upstate New York, but I'm not sure.
The book is truly brilliant, don't now how you managed to write it so well. Did you have a third party read it through and edit it?
I read up to chapter 4, then jumped to a few chapters that I had to read. Tonight I tackle the Maths...been saving it for when my brain can handle some input...I'll start making coffee now.
I hope if you do any updates, you'll update the file on the download link.
@Photics I can't even track the order the link won't work I've been waiting at the door everyday after work like a junkie lol. I was hoping it be here this weekend so I could read through it but no luck my wife said the mailman came but no book. Well I guess it will be here next week can't wait.

Wow, thanks! I created the whole thing. There were no editors or consultants.
I hope if you do any updates, you'll update the file on the download link.
It seems that the next update to GameSalad might lead to an update of the book. I'm not sure how the future of this project will play out. But if it is updated, the download site should get the new PDF.
All orders are up-to-date again. If you don't have your PDF download information, which is sent via email, you can try contacting me through Google Checkout.
@Photics I was curious is there anyway of tracking my textbook? I have been waiting for it and still is not here I payed with Paypal. Is there anyone else on these forums that has ordered the actual hardcover book or just me? Also if you have ordered it has it come yet?

It's not a hardcover book. The printed version of this book (available through Lulu) has a soft cover.
Did you see this...
Photics said: For people that purchased the printed book on or before August, 16, 2010, forward a copy of your Lulu invoice to me within the next week (on or before August 23, 2010) and I'll probably create a PDF download account for you. But for new orders, this offer does not apply.
I received my Printed Copy of Photics's magnum opus yesterday, and I must say I am truly impressed -- if I may say ---"It's a Lulu!"
The scope of coverage is right on, and I am having a blast reading it from cover to cover first to fill in the gaps in knowledge. With a resource like this, maybe some more things can be done directly in GS.
Michael, you deserve a lot of credit for taking this on, -- I personally think Gendai should comp you with a never-ending free "pro" account for doing their work for them. Without documentation GS has been an exercise in vanity press - The forums are good for eventually getting a response (sometimes) but there is no substitute for learning the tool from well designed documentation.

Wow, those are strong words. I'm glad that you're impressed.

A perpetual pro license would be cool, but I'm not even sure they've read the book yet. I don't know if they like it or dislike it. But considering this thread is up to page 9, I imagine that they're either ambivalent towards this book or they like it.
Yep, I got an email just now from Google saying the order has shipped, so probably any minute now. Note that I am kidding, there is no rush even though I am always impatent

You might want to check your spam filter. The download information doesn't come from Google.com. It comes from photics.com. If you don't have the download information, you can try emailing me through Google Checkout.
All orders are up-to-date again. I'm getting back into making games. There are links in the PDF that don't work... like for Another Puzzle... and there's mention of "Annoyed Tomatoes". That's because I finished the book before I finished the games. It's probably a good thing. I actually learned new tricks while writing this book, so maybe this information will lead to better games.
TymeMaster said: The book was very well written, I would highly recommend it to newcomers and also intermediate Game Salad developers. Kudos to you my friend!
Thanks! I'm glad that you like the book!

Finally the book arrived today in the mail. Just in time to I had just made it to Chapter 5 on the pdf and was going blind starring at my monitor now I could read the actual book. lol.

That's good, you were waiting for the book for a while.
Once again, all orders are up-to-date. If you do not have your download information, you can try contacting me by email (which is listed at the bottom of http://photics.com) or through Google Checkout.
It's funny. Now I'm actually glad that Gendai Games is slow to update GameSalad. That keeps my book staying nice and fresh.

Many thanks for the download link!
