I renewed very end of September, I bought a Mac especially to use GS. Best I use this year wisely to re-coup all of my expenses
Personally, I don't see how they can justify both a flat rate per app AND %cut, unless one of those is a negligible amount. If the flat rate is too high, they lose the 90% of people that make bad games and that wouldn't make enough $ to cover the flat rate.
If the %cut is too high they lose the other 10% of people that make decent games.

Sorry. I try to be positive too - but frankly I think we're all screwed for the next few weeks or months while learning a new program (those who aren't already familiar with one).
That said there IS one positive thing that will come after we all leave; we get to watch GS die an agonizing death because no one is going to stick with a company that is synonymous with crap games (some of mine included) and who can't communicate worth a damn.

I love Gamesalad, and don't want to see them fail, but if they go forth with this new plan, they will be in the fast lane on the journey to failure.
NOONE in their right mind will go for this.
Wake up Gamesalad!
I loved Gamesalad. If they're going to do this then, well, another relationship example, I guess;
Assuming this goes ahead, Gamesalad, is like my fat ex, Mike.
I loved Mike. At first he was a great guy. He paid for everything, he was loving and respectful and he appreciated me.
As time went by he appreciated me less, he started to do little things that bothered me. Then we stopped communicating.
Eventually, he started hiding things from me and I knew it was over.
I left him for something better; it took some work to adjust to a very different lifestyle but I am now happier than I've ever been, and much better off than staying with Gam.... err, Mike.
*Edit for clarity: I should have ended that by explaining that I loved GS like I loved my ex, but I would now be quite happy if he died. (To be fair he was a horrid person in the end. He killed my dog - and yes - I'm still comparing him to GS.)
Photics said: So hey, where do we all go if this community falls apart? Should I make a forum for ex-gamesalad developers?
I already considered this but my server is way too full. If you made a forum I'd totally shift over there. I'd hate to lose everyone here just because GS is fcked.

And they're the ex that says, "you'll never find better than me.." "you'll come crawling back"
To that I say.... WATCH ME
Or how about a family photo?
