- Native UI elements - GS isn't only for games... Just wait and see... - Custom Lua scripting - I know your moving away from Lua, but sometimes I like to go back to hard code coding... - Multi object selection - Druves me crazy only being able to select one object... - Objects can draw shapes - Like draw a square with the border thinkness and fill options... That includes gradients please... - Web management stuff - So we can do things like `http.get()` or SQLite stuff...
Here are my top five wishes for GameSalad greatness!
1 - It would be nice if GameSalad had some form of movement anti-aliasing. In it's current state, actors moving too slowly appear choppy due to the fact that they are moving in fragments smaller than the number of pixels available on the screen. This makes slower moving, far away background images in parallax setups a little ugly.
2 - Performance! This is what I think will bring GameSalad to the head of the table in the long run.
3 - Joints! I am really looking forward to the awesome new possibilities offered through joints.
4 - Multiple object selection. It would be truly wonderful to be able to select all of the actors in a scene and just drag them all together.
5 - Color Coding. It would be really nice to have color coded groups to make sorting our rules easier.
- EDIT: Folders, so we can organize actors AND images (Tags are OK, but if they are our only option, we need to be able to PIN a tag so it stays open/the focus, even when we switch from section to section and back again. make it obvious the tag PIN is in play, by changing a titlebar color or something. - Zoom in and out in a scene, in authoring mode - Ability to sort actors by name and date, or the 'custom' order I may have arranged items in - EDIT: An ACTORS button that is *always* at the top of the screen, no matter where I am. Ability to tell what resources are in use, and which are not - Ability to more easily change the game publishing platform RESOLUTION- i.e. from iPhone exclusive to iPad, etc.
Control of sounds via an attribute. Currently you can call an image via an attribute or table reference but the select a sound only has the drop-down to choose it from. Also FX on sound would be nice.
1. Analytics (Flurry Integration) 2. Multi-player Interaction 3. Build for distribution on PC (Is the what everyone means by Universal build?) 4. Performance 5. Ability to create plugins
Multiplayer. Specifically, being able to invite Facebook friends to join a match/round like in the game "Scramble" or "Words With Friends"

I'd like to see this feature added
When you go into multi tasking, your game goes into the pause scene. This is good for word games. Right now, people can go into multi tasking and figure out all the word/s without the time running down.
Hi if the new program will not completely make the load super fast, add in an option to disable the loading sign so when loading we just make it when button it shows a scene that says loading
my main update would be ipad support. i don't mean publishing to the ipad. what i mean is you will be able to create games on the ipad. because sometimes i am on vacation ans only have an ipad with me and want to create a game. if you priced it for 5 dollars you could make millions. i know this isn't an update but it is a great idea.
1. universal build support. 2. video support 3. better actor organization (folders) 4. pixel collision detection or at-least polygon collison 5. pause game when app loses focus or multi-tasking
1. basic json or rest api functionality 2. at least some of the basic iphone UI objects, real keyboard (not some weird keyboard and a text box) 3. access to GPS 4. custom font support 5. cross fade between music, rather than a harsh switch 6. android ad support (since this is the only way you could hope to make money)
1 - Admob or Google Adsense, or both 2 - Grid and snap to grid option on the editor to make easier to positionate things. 3 - Allow zoom on the editor. 4 - Joints 5 - Some kind of leaderboards for android. It could be openfeint
My pro membership expired. I wont renew it before reading on some future update that there is Admob.
1. Turn based multiplayer support (support for the Turn Based feature in Game Center).
2. Detect if device has been switched to sleep, then turned back on (so you can pause the game in this case).
3. Modular Interface: An editing interface with separate window for the scene editor, and the attributes, etc, would be good. Dock and undock the different windows, so there's not so much back and forth. It's frustrating how, every time you go into an actor, then back out, all your view settings are reset, for example.
4. A Performance Analyzer: Could just give back stats on which actors are taking the most time, or something to help indicate where you should be investigating to get the most effective optimisations done.
5. Video playback support.
Things I spotted in other people's posts that I also thought were especially great ideas... in no particular order:
* Mouse X,Y display in sceneEditor (a little readout would help to debug, and position objects).
* More fonts.
* Access to more hardware features - GPS, Camera, Light sensor, Microphone.

Ease in/out is great.
But I have been playing around with Stencyl recently, and they have bounce in/out... which just looks COOL! for front end stuff.
